SAG National Board Candidate Statement

SAG/AFTRA/AEA. I’ve worked all contracts from background to series regular. As a current Hollywood Division Board member I serve on the Legislative and Seniors Committees, and Vice-Chair the EEOC. I co-produced the Black History Month event “Black Broadway” and an African American Caucus panel of industry professionals. So some accomplishments in a tough year, but the real work still remains. Recurring on Lost, Southland and other shows  makes me hyper-aware of the challenges facing the “recurring guest” actor, as well as the “worked some in SAG, some in AFTRA” performer concerned about qualifying for benefits. For them, and all performers, unity is key. www.UniteforStrength.
