I’ve been a SAG member for over 20 years. My involvement with SAG started with trying to merge our Unions about 6 years ago. we can not hope to be effective if we are fighting against eachother. Our strength comes in working together with intelligence, knowledge and a willingness to see the changes that are taking place in our industry. I was paralyzed on a set over 3 years ago. I started to work with Staff at SAG to strengthen our insurance for all actors. In doing this work – I was driven to get involved with our Union by working in the Board room. I have seen the inner workings of SAG and have come to realize that if we do not heal our Union – we can not begin to do the work, which is necessary to keep all performers working with the best possible contracts and protections. It is my wish to make a difference and help lay the ground work for a strong future.

SAG National Board Candidate Statement
A Screen Actors Guild member for over 20 years, I’m currently a SAG Hollywood Board member and National Chair of the SAG Commercial Performers Committee, and worked on the Joint TV/Theatrical and Commercials Wages and Working Conditions Committees. My focus is to make sure every performer is represented in negotiations and to keep our Pension and Health plans alive and strong. Our next negotiations are perhaps the most important in our industry. My goal is to make sure our unions work together – it’s our only hope to achieve a strong future. www.UniteforStrength.com
