SAG National Board Candidate Statement
For years people have thrown up scary scenarios concerning merger, arguing passionately that SAG would be weakened. But it’s the fact that we haven’t merged that’s left the union in the perilous position it finds itself in now. SAG has made a hash of things this year, seriously weakening itself. I believe passionately that only through merger will performers have any strength. It’s time to face facts and find a solution. We don’t need to lose our identity in a merger; we can do this and do it safely. If we have the will we’ll find the way. www.UniteforStrength.com
